When you first enter the world of tamuair, you may notice some screen flickering. Watch out, this means there is a hurricane. stay in the room until it passes.

By now, you should already have decided on a class. When the hurricane passes, go outside and find some aislings of the class you want to be. Begin to scream and harass them, so they can ban you from Mileth innitiate you.

The next thing you'll want to do is find a mentor.

If your mentor hasn't already told you to go to the crypt or woodland, DO IT.

When you arrive, begin to beat up the weakest creature. In this example, it would be a rat.

After defeating the vermin, you'll notice it drops mold. Now don't eat it; your goal here is to fit in, and you don't want to look stupid.

After beating innocent creatures to death for a while, you will gain an insight. Go to your status screen, and you will see that you have two free stat points to distribute. Now choose them wisely; they're permanent.

As you gain more and more insight, you'll begin to see that the monsters are putting up less of a fight. You'll want to goto the next level to find stronger monsters.

Now the monsters may look the same as the ones above, but they are actually much stronger.

Once strong enough, go down to the next floor. Remember to group with someone, because the monster's spells can be a real bitch.

When you hit your 11th insight, you will be able to wear new armour. If you don't like the way your armour looks, talk to a respected citizen about getting them dyed. Also, tell them Macho Monk sent you. They probably won't know what you're talking about, but hey, they might just ask.

Q: My character is almost completly useless. What should I do?

A: Recreate, and don't be a monk this time!

Q: I'm a guy IRL, but I chose a girl aisling by mistake while creating a character. I really like the name, but don't want to go through the hassles of name reservation. Should I just think of a new name for a male aisling?

A: Using a girl asiling is perfectly fine. In fact, about 97% of the female aislings are actually guys IRL. And hey, you might even set the counter for the 100th lezbien on DA.
