You Are My Sunset...
Each day, you are my sunset
I feel your heat in me
You change the day into night
And your moonlight you've given me...
To shine for me as I write to you
Filling my thoughts upon a page
The sun and moon within you are calm
Yet, inside you grows a rage...
I never want to change you
Or try to own you like some possession
I love you just the way you are
And inside are no obsessions...
Each day, you are my sunset
I feel your heat in me
You change the day into night
And your moonlight you've given me...

Pray to the Moon when she is round
Luck with you shall then abound.
What you seek for shall be found
In sea or sky or solid ground

Kisses
Your lips plush and full
Full of love and passion
Your sweet lips
Fondle my ears with each kiss
Cuddle my lips with
Your own special fondness
Your lips gliding down
Showing committed affection
While cherishing every kiss
Bringing your self great bliss
Showing your sweet devotion
With each tender loving kiss

A fairy's house stands in a wood,
Midst fairy trees and flowers,
Where daisies sing like little birds
Between the sun and showers,
And grasses whisper tiny things
About this world of ours
Such flowers are there beside the way,
Lilies and hollyhocks:
Blow off their stalks to tell the time
Tall dandelion clocks;
While harebells ring an hourly chime
Like a wound music-box.
Some day shall we two try to find
This strange enchanted place?
Go hand in hand through flower-lit woods
Where living trees embrace--
And suddenly, as in a dream,
Behold a fairy's face!

Cherries
Cherries of the night are riper
Than the cherries plucked at noon
Gather to your fairy piper
When he pipes his magic tune:
Merry, merry,
Take a cherry;
Mine are sounder,
Mine are rounder,
Mine are sweeter
For the eater
Under the moon.
And you'll be fairies soon.
In the cherry plucked at night,
With the dew of summer swelling,
There's a juice of pure delight,
Cool, dark, sweet, divinely smelling.
Merry, merry,
Take a cherry;
Mine are sounder,
Mine are rounder,
Mine are sweeter
For the eater
In the moonlight.
And you'll be fairies quite
When I sound the fairy call,
Gather here in silent meeting,
Chin to knee on the orchard wall,
Cooled with dew and cherries eating.
Merry, merry,
Take a cherry;
Mine are sounder,
Mine are rounder,
Mine are sweeter.
For the eater
When the dews fall.
And you'll be fairies all.
Whisper
May I point out that the lady is a former fae princess?
I would suggest trying her advice here, and anyway *smiles*, Suomi can
sure use the trade, me dears.

Poem for my lost husband
Have I lost you?
I have realized you are gone,
I wonder for how long,
I want you here next to me,
Why did you have to go and leave me alone,
I want you back
I wish I would have expressed my feelings to you,
but now it is to late,
You are gone and I miss you so much
You are like a lost pup- you will not go away
every night I express my feelings with God
on how much I love and miss you
if only you knew
I hope, in time, you will be back
and realize what you are missing!

Where the Land Touches the Sea
Where the land touches the sea
The cool breezes blow
Tasting yesterday
With the tip of memory
Whispering surf sprays mist
Curling shaking fingers around white sand
To grip the shores of imagination

The Storm
Raw sun flared, red as ripe new blood
Cut the black night
Into the paled, scorched earth.
Angry and resistant wind circled and whimpered
Boiled a cloud behind it,
Raced -
In the dust-blanketed land.
The men fought the hot stinging wind
Bemused perplexity -
Thinking, figuring.
Don't know.
I heard the wind stop
Dust settled
Nuzzled the surface of the earth
Like pollen
Deep stillness
And air sat still
Air became clear
Weakened.
